BAW, You will have to remove the seat from the floor to replace them , but leave the seat in the car , this will give you easy access to cover , retaining bolt and the wiring . Mister T.

Rats. That's what I was afraid of. So it has to be the whole assembly? What an awful design.

Tried to do mine, however I will need to take the seats out, I have 3 problems A, Seatbelt 'annoy' light doesnt flash when It should do 2, Heated seats do not work, I see a bare wire under the seat, Its red and It looks nasty... (switch has been removed for safetys sake!) G, My seat belt lights have burnt through the plastic too! I have tried to just remove the plastic, but nearly breaking the entire seatbelt, I promptly put it all back together. Its not a replaceable item, Main stealer or scrappie job!

4 bolts - 3 of which may be under plastic trims at the end of the seat runners. When they're undone, the seat needs to slide (with it's runners) either forwards or backwards then lifted to release it from a keyway in the car floor. The seats are quite heavy....

Thanks. I suppose 4 bolts aren't too bad. Mind you if all that was needed was a new bulb, it seems a bit over the top.... For Jim760 - Here's some pics of the offending items. Thank you very much
