CD Error

Is it just this one CD or all CD's you try? If it won't play a standard commercial CD then it will need an exchange unit . But try disconnecting the battery for a minute as when it is reconnected the CD mechanism will do a reset and go through it's cycle

Hi, Thanks for the reply. It is not playing any of the CDs. They are all commercial ones, i mean to say, not burnt by me...I will give it a go and see what happpens. Thanks Mahesh

Another thing that might be worth a try. If the CD says "Load 1" then change it to one of the other slots 2 / 3 / 4 and try it in there. Usually mine is OK but every now and again (usually on a freebie CD) it throws a wobbly and won't read it in Slot 1 - put it in Slot 2 and it's fine. Tony

Hi, I have tried disconnecting & reconnecting battery. This did not work. Also, I have tried to place CD in all the available slots. Unfortunately same error. Also, today one of my front bulbs is blown out. I can't believe am having these problems in 1 week of my Volvo's exp. Anyways rang the seller (cargiant) and booked an appointment in Sep to fix CD-Player. Hopefully it will e sorted out :emoticon_U:
