Tracking Keeps Needing Adjustment

We have had our XC90 for just under a year and have been generally very pleased with it. After we had had it for about 3 months/4000 miles I noticed that the steering pulled to the left. Our Snows in Southampton checked and adjusted the tracking under warranty. Approx three months later the same thing happened again. Snows reported that again the tracking was found to be badly out. The other day I noticed the same pulling to the left and decided another check was required. Snows adjusted it again this morning saying that it was badly out and told me that this is very unusual for an XC90. Thing is that this is my wife's car and it spends most of its time on major roads and/or motorways. She is very careful with it and you can see from the wheels and tyres that it has not been bounded-off curbs. Neither she nor I have taken it off-road! Anyone else found that their XC90 tracking needs to be adjusted this often? Thanks in anticipation. Chris

maybe the lower arm bushes are shot

Steering arms, bushes, ball joints, track rod ends. Although I would expect the tracking to go out instantly if any of these were knackered. Take it back to them and get all the front steering/suspension checked. Another possibility is a sticky brake caliper as it always seems to be the one side, however they keep saying that the tracking is out so you could rule that out.

Chris , You did not say the year or total mileage on the car , did they tell you what had gone out of adjustment or give you a before and after printout ?. Mister T.

I got my XC90 from Kings in Southampton, I had a problem with the tracking after my wife curbed the car. Kings redid the tracking for me but I wasn't that happy with it so I got it laser aligned at Micheldever tyres and since then it has been absolutely fine.
