Oil Leak on 850

The seal itself is almost free, when you consider the cost of the installation..As you say the box needs to be moved an approriate amount to create the room to lodge the new seal...This does require the subframe to be lowered on one side.... Perhaps before you go to this length you may like to try , which is holding many a 850 RMS together.... Cheers Jod

thanks for the replies, im not bothered about the labour in taking it apart because my labour is free! i have tried the seal conditioner there are a few on the market forte is the most expensive it maybe worked but i cant tell really. it leaks worst when you have been for a run and stop suddenly if you mooch along at 30 then park up its not bad at all. i am going on holiday in a couple weeks i think i will do it before then, i know what to buy now when i go to my dealer, thanks!

where did you put the forte in? i squirted it down the dipstick!

I have been using forte products for 15 years now and as jod says it works so does their other products they are all outstanding ,the only problem is you have to be in the motor trade to get them ,i have all their products in stock laurence
